About the Author
Bruce J. Cohen, Ph.D., has chaired both the department of sociology and the department of criminal justice at C.W. Post Center of Long Island University. A former faculty member and administrator at Michigan State, he received his doctoral degree from that institution. Terri L. Orbuch, Ph. D., is a post-doctoral fellow and visiting professor in the department of psychology at the University of Iowa. She is the author of numerous articles and book chapters on relationship loss, human sexuality, and aging/life course development. She received her doctoral degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
